Stacy and Lydia (BFFs) just got back from camp where they learned everything from applying eyeliner to straightening hair and they can't wait till first night (a party for kids in Junior High the night before school starts), so they can tell their second bestfriend Kelly all about it. But Kelly became really good friends with "the chicas" (the popular girls). When Kelly and "the chicas" get invited to a Bit Mitzvah, and Stacy and Lydia are not, they think Kelly will forget about them and fall for "the chicas". So they crash the Bit Mitzvah and find out that if you just be yourself and be there for your friend, everything will turn out great.
