This book is about a girl named Lily who loves to write and enjoys literature. She had just entered eight grade and fell in love with this boy named Colter. She soon began to think that Colter is the perfect guy for her. One day a wonderful opportunity opens up for Lily, and she's hired to be an assistant to a real writer: Ellis Parson. Lily had always dreamed of being a famous writer. She is already a writer herself for the school newspaper. She is an advice columnist. On the first day of her job, she realized that Ellis Parson was Colter's mother because of this; she hoped that Colter would soon notice her.
